 EJHFutures, LLC is not just a consulting agency or even just a Black-owned company. It’s both these things and much more. EJHFutures, LLC is the embodiment of my hope and belief in society. The belief that a better and brighter future is possible for Elin Jackson Hill, my first-born child. He, All the young people who have trusted me with their stories, and my own story is the reason why EJHFutures, LLC became a reality. 

Elin Jackson Hill is named after the two individuals who helped mold me and built the foundation of my youthful years. My Mother and first mentor, two Black strong and awe-inspiring womxn. In other words, I am the product of a loving community and I am striving to recreate this phenomenon. I am also the product of two adults who understood and embraced the genuine notion of empowerment for young folx.  Empowerment can be cultivated; power can not be given, youth and young adults are already powerful! 

I believe the foundational pillars of compassionate accountability, a tenacious commitment to include All voices and share power, and striving to heal our local and global communities of racial harm is a good starting place. EJHFutures, LLC and I are in it for the journey and not the sprint, I hope you are too!
